Day 1 - GEORGETOWN/WILMINGTON/PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT/SCOTTSDALE, AZ Morning departure for Philadelphia Airport to board our flight into Phoenix, AZ. Transfer by waiting motorcoach to nearby Scottsdale, your home for two nights. Relax or perhaps stroll through the streets of this western town. Meals D COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT
Day 2 - AREA SIGHTSEEING/SPECIAL EVENTS A local guide will introduce you to the area. Highlights of your guided tour include downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain, Paradise Valley, Old Town Scottsdale and more. Next, you will learn how Native American jewelry is made at a jewelry-making demonstration. Tonight join your fellow travelers for the "Great Chili Cook-Off" at the Pinnacle Peak Patio. In 1957 Pinnacle Peak opened as a general store. Today it is a restaurant specializing in traditional cookouts. Upon arrival, our group will be divided with plenty of interesting ingredients available to create your own chili. Who knows - you could win the championship. Then enjoy dinner and entertainment. Day 3 - SCOTTSDALE/VERDE CANYON/SEDONA An exciting day as you ride the Verde Canyon Railroad through the Verde Canyon accessible only by rail. The vintage locomotive follows the Verde River past towering, crimson cliffs, near ancient Indian ruins, over old-fashioned trestles and through a 680-foot man-made tunnel. Day 4 - SEDONA Another tour highlight as you chat this morning with a local native American tribe member. Learn about the different tribes of the area, their histories and modern day life in Arizona. Next it's "all aboard" for a fascinating trolley tour of beautiful Sedona featuring a visit to the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, Gallery Row Jordan Historic Park and other Sedona sights. Time on your own for an independent lunch Uptown before returning to your hotel this afternoon. Enjoy time by the pool or visit the many shops and galleries of Sedona. Meals B RADISSON POCO DIABLO
Day 5 - SEDONA/GRAND CANYON/SEDONA
Your morning drive takes you through Oak Creek Canyon, where rock formations change hue with every turn in the road. Arrive in Williams to board the Grand Canyon Railroad for a memorable ride across miles of northern Arizona. The desert turns into forests of Ponderosa Pines as you near the great Grand Canyon. Enjoy it all, the ever changing colors of this mile-deep canon cut by the Colorado River, one inch deeper every 100 years. Dinner this evening at Black Bart's where the entire dining room staff is made up of singers from Northern Arizona University who will delight you with their music from Broadway shows.

Day 6 - SEDONA A day at leisure to enjoy local shops and galleries and perhaps visit the Mexican style village of Tlaquepaque. Or have a game of golf at our resort (not included.) It is a great day to do almost nothing if you prefer. Tonight an evening of traditional cowboy food at the Blazin' M Ranch along the banks of the Verde River. Meals BD RADISSON POCO DIABLO
Day 7 - SEDONA/HOME
Morning transfer to the airport for our return flight to Philadelphia where transportation will be waiting to return you to Wilmington and Georgetown.
