Day 1 - INDEPENDENCE/NEWARK/WILMINGTON/PHL AIRPORT
Afternoon departure for PHL airport to board your flight to Innsbruck to discover the unique charms of Austria and Germany!
Day 2 - INNSBRUCK
Arrive Innsbruck, capital of the Alps! On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel, your home for 6 nights. Dinner this evening with your fellow travelers to celebrate your arrival in Austria! Meals:D

Day 3 - INNSBRUCK/SEEFELD/INNSBRUCK
This morning it’s your choice! A walk through the streets of Innsbruck with a local guide and take in the local landmarks including the Golden Roof - OR - visit the Museum of Tyrolean Regional Heritage, getting a look into the historic region through traditional costumes and handicrafts. Next, journey by train 3,600 feet above sea level to the village of Seefeld, one of the world’s great ski resorts thanks to miles of lakes and trails. Step off the train into the pure Alpine air to find an authentic horse-drawn carriage waiting for you. You’ll be whisked across the snow and participate in an interactive demonstration of how to make (and eat) traditional strudel. Glide your way back to Innsbruck. Meals:B

Day 6 - INNSBRUCK/NEUSCHWANSTEIN, GERMANY, INNSBRUCK
View the magnificence of Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairytale creation of Bavaria’s “Mad King”. Continue to the Bavarian village of Oberammergau for lunch and time to get-to-know this village. Return to Innsbruck. Meals:B,L

Day 7 - INNSBRUCK/MUNICH, GERMANY
Welcome to Munich! Venture to Marienplatz and see the iconic Glockenspiel, where life-size figures spin and dance. Time to visit the large Christmas Market before joining our guide for a tour of Munich, passing famous sights such as the Royal Square and Parliament Building. Your Farewell Dinner this evening including a toast to your wonderful journey. Meals:B,D

Day 8 - MUNICH/HOME
Morning departure for the airport for your return flight to PHL where transportation will be waiting to return you home. Meals:B
TOUR INCLUSIONS: Roundtrip transportation to PHL airport * roundtrip air PHL/Munich/air taxes and fees (subject to change until ticketed) accommodations for 6 nights at the Hotel Innsbruck * sightseeing as per itinerary including several Christmas Markets, guided tours in Innsbruck and Munich * meals include 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 3 dinners * luggage handling at hotels * services of a Collette Tour Director * services of a Tour Director from 4 Seasons Tours with a minimum of 15 passengers.

Conditions: A deposit of $600 is due with each reservation and is refundable until June 1, 2021.
Final payment is due October 1, 2021. Insurance is $399 and must be paid at time of deposit. With insurance you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund except for the cost of the insurance.

Day 5 - INNSBRUCK
A day at leisure in this marvelous city. Go treasure hunting at the Christmas markets brimming with sights and sounds of the seasons. While brass bands play from the towers, indulge in some gluhwein and stollen, (hot, spiced mulled wine and holiday sweet bread). Meals:B

HIGHLIGHTS of your Christmas tour include Innsbruck, a scenic train ride, Seefeld, Saltzburg, St. Peter’s Skiftskseller, Oberammergau, Munich and the glittering Christmas Markets!!
Day 4 - INNSBRUCK/SALZBURG/INNSBRUCK
Over the mountains and through the woods of the Austrian countryside to the storybook Old Town of Salzburg. Head over to Mirabell Gardens and the iconic “Do-Re-Mi steps from the sound of Music. Then journey through the baroque heart of the Old City and the famous thoroughfare of Mozart’s birthplace. Be sure to enjoy a traditional Mozart chocolate. A free afternoon to enjoy any of six Christmas Markets! Your day of sightseeing and shopping concludes at St. Peter Skiftskeller, the oldest continuously serving restaurant in Europe, a centuries-old gem. Return to Innsbruck. Meals:B,D
