Morning departures take us along the Pennsylvania Turnpike into Bedford, PA for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Cleveland, Ohio for overnight. Meals:L,D

Day 2 - CLEVELAND/MEADOW BROOK AND BAY CITY, MICHIGAN
Midday arrival at the National Historic Landmark Meadow Brook Hall, historic home of one of the automotive aristocracy’s most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson. The mansion is one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America and is truly spectacular. Lunch at Meadow Brook before our tour and then we continue to Bay City for overnight. Day 6 - FORD RIVER ROUGE FACTORY/HENRY FORD MUSUEM
This morning go behind the scenes at the world’s largest automotive complex as you watch the Ford F150 pickup truck being built on our Ford Company factory tour. Ladies, you will enjoy this as much as the men will! This afternoon explore the Henry Ford Museum, a uniquely American museum highlighting the growth of America and is told with trains, planes and motorcars, furnishings, clockwork, silver and pewter; with a tavern, a gristmill, the DT and M Roundhouse, a one-room school house all in historic districts that show the unique growth of our country. This is one of the most interesting and fascinating museums in America. Return to our hotel in the late afternoon. Meals:B,D

Day 4 – MACKINAC ISLAND
This morning board a large horse-drawn carriage to tour a variety of local sites. Remainder of day at leisure to shop, stroll the hotel gardens and perhaps enjoy afternoon tea. The local architecture and shops are fascinating. Another delicious dinner at our hotel with music as you dine. Meals:B,D

Depart Dearborn and the state of Michigan this morning for Pittsburgh where we will overnight. Dinner at the delightful Grand Concourse Restaurant. Meals:B,L,D

Enjoy a ride on the Incline which overlooks this Renaissance City where three rivers meet before departing for Wilmington, Newark and Independence stopping enroute for an independent lunch. Arrival in Wilmington in the late afternoon followed by Newark and Independence. Meals:B
Day 3 - BAY CITY/MACKINAC ISLAND
Following breakfast, continue north to Mackinac City for a short ferry ride crossing to historic Mackinac Island, the Jewel of the Great Lakes. A unique island barely two by three miles, it lies in the Straits of Mackinac, and most of it is almost as unspoiled as it was when the European settlers arrived. The cannon still booms daily at Fort Mackinac overlooking the harbor at this National Historic Landmark hotel, opened originally in 1887. Meals:B,D

Another mouth-watering breakfast before boarding the ferry for a short crossing to St. Ignace where we board our motorcoach for spectacular scenery as we cross the Upper Peninsula Bridge, which spans for nearly five miles. We’ll stop in the delightful Bavarian town of Frankenmuth, originally founded by German Lutherans. Time for an independent lunch and shopping. Afternoon arrival in Dearborn, your home for two nights. Day 6 - HENRY FORD MUSEUM, GREENFIELD VILLAGE/FORD FACTORY
A day devoted to exploring the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
