This is a tour filled with magnificent scenery and beauty!  The Canadian and American Rockies will tower above you as you make your journey!  The weather should be delightful and we expect that you will see wildlife!  Glacier National Park is famous for its big horn sheep who sometimes stand by the side of the road and gaze at you.  Riding a Jammer through the park is a unique experience and fun.  This is a Collette Vacation Tour and we are partnering with them and looking forward to it! They offer some optional tours including a variety of helicopter tours and lake cruises where wildlife roam the shores.  Information is included with the flier.  We hope you will join us for this exciting adventure.

 Itinerary

Day 1 - INDEPENDENCE/NEWARK/WILMINGTON/PHILADELPHIA AIRPORT/CALGARY
Morning departures for Philadelphia Airport to board our flight to Calgary in the Canadian Rockies.  This tour combines the best of the prairies, the majesty of the Canadian Rockies, and the spectacular beauty of Montana's Glacier National Park!
WESTERN HOTEL CALGARY

Day 2 - CALGARY/WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK
Journey south into the prairie lands while enjoying distant views of the spectacular Rockies.  Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, one of the world's oldest and best preserved buffalo jumps, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Located in the foothills of the Rockies, Head-Smashed-In was used continuously by Aboriginal people for over 5,000 years.  Continue south to Waterton lakes National park traveling along roads sometimes used by grizzly and black bears, mountain goats, moose and elk.  Enjoy leisure time to explore the grounds and take photos.  Meals BD

Day 3 - WATERTON LAKES AND GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MT
A day of beauty and fun for everyone!  A naturalist's paradise, Glacier preserves over one million acres of forests, Alpine meadows and lakes and is home to over 70 species of mammals and 270 species of birds.  Enjoy a drive aboard one of the famous Jammer Cars, built in the 1930's, over one of the most breathtaking roads in North America.  The "Going to the Sun Road" stretches for miles across the Continental Divide and offers incredible views of the valley and Glacier National Park.  Meals B

Day 4 - WATERTON LAKES/BANFF SPRINGS
Relax this morning on your drive to Banff surrounded with views of the Canadian Rockies.  Arrive at the grand Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for a luxurious three night stay.  You'll have leisure time to explore the hotel and grounds before a dinner at this grand hotel.  Meals BD

Day 5 - BANFF
Enjoy a gondola ride to the summit of Banff's Sulphur Mountain, where you will have breakfast overlooking the town and valley.  Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Banff area including stops at the lovely Box Falls and at the fascinating Hoodoos, also known as the "Land of the Sleeping Giants."  Visit a local ammonite specialist where you will learn about this rare gemstone found only in Alberta.  Afternoon at leisure to browse the shops and museums, or to just take in the natural beauty of the area.  Meals B

Day 6 - ICEFIELDS PARKWAY AND COLUMBIA ICEFIELD
Icefields ParkwayA wonderful day of sightseeing as you journey along unforgettable Icefields Parkway with its lofty waterfalls, rushing rivers, glacial peaks and snowcapped mountain ranges.  Stop at the Columbia Icefield for a ride (weather permitting) across this mass of glacier ice which is over 1,00 feet thick!  Afternoon stop at Peyto Lake, a serene, turquoise glacier-fed lake.  Meals B

Day 7 - BANFF/CALGARY
Leave the wonders of the Rockies for the prairies of Alberta enroute to the Kananaskis Valley.  You'll visit a local ranch for leisure time to play a game of horseshoes, take a line dance lesson and enjoy a wagon ride to view buffalo.  Continue to Calgary for overnight.  Meals BL

Day 8 - CALGARY/HOME
With memories of some of the world's most beautiful scenery, transfer to the airport for return to Philadelphia Airport where transportation will return you to Wilmington, Newark and Independence.

  Conditions:
Reservation deposit $250 per person due with each reservation.  Deposits should be received no later than April 6, 2013.  After this date, reservations are based on availability.
Balance due July 2, 2013. 
Cancellations:  Without insurance:  deposits are refundable until April 6, 2013.  With insurance:  you may cancel at anytime.  Cost of insurance is $165 per person and must be paid at time of deposit.
