A new Broadway Musical
By Steve Martin & Edie Brickell

Saturday matinee, October 8, 2016

Together Steve Martin and Edie Brickell fashioned the original story and Steve Martin wrote the book. The beaming title tune sets the tone. World War II has ended, and the boys are coming home. Among them is Billy Cane (the winning, rich-voiced A. J. Shively)  whose ambition is to become a writer for the Asheville Southern Journal. In Asheville he meets editor Alice Murphy (the wonderful Carmen Cusack). Their lives entwine midst the stories of their previous loves. Full of great characters, lovely and lucid orchestrations with lively dancing. Excellent Orchestra seats! A delicious lunch included at P.J. Clark’s Restaurant. Especially selected entrees we are sure you will enjoy!
